Description
Coconut Cashew Dream is a handmade chocolate bar with a coconut caramel centre studded with lightly toasted cashews, which make up 12.1% of the bar. It is scented with vanilla bean, lightly salted with Australian sea salt and wrapped in chocolate at 25.1% cacao solids, so it eats chewy and sweet rather than bitter. The twin box holds two 35 g bars: one for an afternoon coffee or the end of a meal, one to keep in a bag or a lunchbox.
Product Strengths
- One bar at a time, for a lunchbox, a handbag or an afternoon coffee break.
- Two 35 g bars to the box, so one keeps for another day or goes to someone else.
- Chewy coconut caramel with chunks of lightly toasted cashew and a light salt edge.
- Vanilla bean at 1% of the bar.
- Milder than a dark bar at 25.1% cacao solids.
- Sweetened with coconut blossom sugar and brown rice syrup rather than refined sugar.
- Vegan and gluten free.
- Made with organic ingredients, marked with an asterisk on the panel.
- Handmade in Byron Bay, New South Wales.
- Contains cashews.
Suitable For / Not Suitable For
Suitable for: plant based eating; it is made without dairy, gluten or refined sugar.
Not suitable for: anyone with a cashew or tree nut allergy. May be present: sesame, peanut, almond, hazelnut, macadamia, pecan and pistachio.
Ingredients
- Cacao paste*.
- Coconut*.
- Cashews (12.1%).
- Cacao butter*.
- Coconut blossom sugar*.
- Brown rice syrup*.
- Vanilla bean* (1%).
- Australian sea salt.
Cacao solids 25.1%. *Organic.
Suggested Use
Eat one 35 g bar as a serve, on its own or with coffee or tea. If it has been in the fridge, let it come back to room temperature first, which brings the caramel back to a chew.
Nutrition Information
One bar is a 35 g serve and the box holds two. Read the nutrition panel from the pack.
Allergens
Contains cashews. May be present: sesame, peanut, almond, hazelnut, macadamia, pecan and pistachio.
Always review label for full list of ingredients.
Storage
Store in a cool, dark place in an airtight container, away from direct sunlight. In hot weather keep it in the fridge until the weather cools. It is made without emulsifiers or preservatives, so it softens faster than supermarket chocolate. Chocolate that melts and sets again can look chalky, which is the cocoa butter out of temper; it is still fine to eat, though the mouthfeel changes.
