Description
Almond Caramel Crunch is a single 35 g Loco Love truffle bar. Tamari toasted Australian almonds, 36.4% of the bar by weight, are folded through a chewy almond butter caramel and wrapped in dark cacao at 25% cacao solids, with blue cornflower petals scattered over the top. The tamari puts a salty, savoury edge against the caramel, and the sweetness comes from coconut blossom sugar and brown rice syrup rather than refined sugar.
It comes individually wrapped in home compostable packaging, so one bar goes into a lunchbox or a handbag, or sits alongside coffee after dinner.

Almonds
The nut, and everything made from it.
Whole and blanched for eating, meal and flour for baking, butter for spreading, milk for drinking. Which one you want depends entirely on what you're doing with it.

Is Almonds right for you?
Common questions
What's the difference between almond meal and almond flour?
Meal is usually ground with the skins left on, so it's coarser and flecked brown. Flour is normally made from blanched almonds with the skins removed, so it's finer and paler. Recipes often use the names interchangeably, and either works in most baking. Check the pack if the colour or texture of the finished thing matters to you.
Are almonds regulated as a medicine in Australia?
Almond is a permitted ingredient in listed medicines, as item 476 of the Permissible Ingredients Determination, where it's used as an excipient. But almonds sold as food, whole, meal, butter, oil or milk, sit under food standards law instead, not the medicines framework. No almond-specific permitted indication was found.
