Description
Luvio by Loco Love Toasted Coconut and Sea Salt is a 90 g block with a soft truffle filling full of desiccated coconut, under a maple sweetened chocolate shell at 55% cacao solids. Coconut at 7.8% gives every section a lovely chew, and fleur de sel at 0.3% lifts the coconut and keeps the sweetness in check. Tigernut flour gives the block its creamy body, and it is scored into sections for sharing after dinner or with a coffee.

Sea Salts
Salt from evaporated seawater rather than a mine.
Same compound as table salt underneath, with traces of other minerals that give it its colour and flavour. Flake size is what changes how it behaves in cooking.

Common questions
Is sea salt different from table salt?
Chemically they're the same thing. Sodium chloride. Sea salt is evaporated from seawater and keeps small traces of other minerals, which is where the colour and the flavour differences come from. Table salt is usually mined and refined, and often has iodine added. For Australian regulatory purposes both are sodium chloride.
Does sea salt count as a supplement?
Not usually. Sodium chloride is a permitted listed ingredient with no conditions attached, but sea salt sold for cooking is a food under the Food Standards Code. Bath salts are a different use again. Which rules apply depends on what the product is sold for rather than on what's in it.
