Description
Karibee Multiflora Honey TA 5+ is a raw wildflower blend, gathered from several plant species flowering at the same time rather than from a single source, packed in single serve sachets. Because each hive works a different set of flowers, one batch tastes unlike the next. With no jar and no spoon needed, the sachets are ready for a desk drawer, a lunchbox or a travel bag.
Product Strengths
- A mild wildflower honey in single serve sachets, for a desk, a lunchbox or a bag.
- No jar and no spoon needed, so it travels.
- A wildflower blend, gathered from several species flowering at the same time.
- Raw honey.
- TA 5+ grading.
Suitable For / Not Suitable For
Suitable for: Anyone who wants honey away from the kitchen, at a desk, in a lunchbox or while travelling.
Not suitable for: Anyone with an allergy to the listed ingredients; children under 12 months of age; anyone with a bee product or pollen allergy.
Ingredients
- 100% raw Western Australian honey.
TA stands for Total Activity, a laboratory measure of a honey's activity against a phenol reference standard. It counts both peroxide activity and non peroxide activity, so a TA figure is not interchangeable with a UMF or an MGO figure, which count non peroxide activity only. There is no TA certification scheme, no TA trademark and no TA standard, so the TA 5+ grading on this pack is the producer's own.
Nutrition Information
Read the nutrition information panel from the pack.
Allergens
Honey is a single ingredient food and Australian labelling requires no allergen declaration for it. Always review label for full list of ingredients.
Suggested Use
Spread it on toast, spoon it over ice cream, stir it through tea or take it straight off the spoon. It also works in baking, where it stands in for sugar.
Warnings
Honey is not suitable for children under 12 months of age.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Raw honey crystallises naturally over time.
Disclaimer
This is a food, not a medicine, and it carries no therapeutic claim. Always read the label and follow the directions on the pack. This page is a general guide and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified health professional.
