Description
Honest to Goodness Organic Turmeric Powder is ground from certified organic turmeric rhizome grown in India. It gives a warm, earthy, faintly bitter flavour and a strong golden colour, and is a staple of Indian and South East Asian cooking as well as of mustards and cheese colouring. Supplied in a 1 kg bag. Fry a teaspoon in oil with the onions at the start of a curry or a dhal so the raw earthiness cooks out, or use a pinch to colour rice, mustards and pickles.
