Ginger
Gentle relief for a queasy stomach.
Ginger supports your gut when you feel sick, without the drowsiness some travel sickness tablets bring. People choose it for morning sickness and travel sickness.

Is Ginger right for you?
How the forms compare
Common questions
Does ginger really help morning sickness?
The evidence is unusually consistent for a herb. A review of 13 trials in 1,174 pregnant women found ginger improved nausea and vomiting in pregnancy compared with placebo. A second review of 12 trials found nausea improved but the number of vomiting episodes didn't. Talk to your doctor or midwife first, and if you can't keep fluids down, you need medical care rather than a supplement.
Why do some ginger products carry a blood thinner warning and others don't?
Because the warning depends on strength, not on ginger itself. Australian law only requires it where the extract ratio is 25:1 or more and the dose gives 2 g or more equivalent dry weight. Plain dried ginger and ginger powder carry no warning at all. If you take a blood thinner, check with us or your doctor whichever form you're looking at.
Will ginger make me drowsy like travel sickness tablets?
It works differently. Ginger acts on receptors in your stomach and helps it empty faster, rather than acting on your brain the way antihistamine travel sickness tablets do. That's the practical reason people choose it for travel. Everyone responds differently, so try it before a long trip rather than on the day.
