Description
Hilde Hemmes' Herbals Passionflower Herb is a single dried herb, Passiflora incarnata, cut loose for brewing. One to two heaped teaspoons steep in a cup of boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes, so it is a long, slow brew rather than a quick one, and a 50 g pack makes a lot of cups at that rate. There is no tea leaf in the pack and no blend behind it. It is a plain single-herb infusion to drink in place of black tea or coffee, at whatever hour of the day suits you.
Product Strengths
- A plain herbal infusion to drink in place of black tea or coffee.
- No tea leaf in the pack, so what you brew is a herb infusion rather than a tea.
- One herb only: passionflower herb, Passiflora incarnata.
- Loose cut herb rather than teabags, so you set the strength of each cup.
- 50 g of dried herb, brewed one to two heaped teaspoons at a time.
- From Hilde Hemmes' Herbals, an Australian herbal range trading since 1985.
Suitable For / Not Suitable For
Suitable for: Anyone who drinks herbal infusions and wants a plain single-herb tea with no tea leaf in it.
Not suitable for: Anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding, and anyone taking prescribed medicine, unless a health professional advises otherwise.
If you are unsure whether it suits you, check with your health professional before drinking it regularly.
