Evolution Botanicals Organic Japanese Matcha Highest Ceremonial Grade is the top grade in the range, a certified organic single origin matcha in an 80 g tin with an airtight lid, the larger of the two sizes. First harvest, shade grown Tencha from the mountainous Kagoshima region is hand selected by a tea master working in organic cultivation and stone ground in small batches, and whisked with hot water it is smooth, sweet and delicately mellow, frothing to a vibrant emerald green with a creamy texture. It is made for whisking with water and drinking on its own, so this is the tin for the daily bowl of matcha rather than for lattes and baking.

Suggested Use
Heat water to about 75°C, short of boiling, then pour 80 mL over 1 to 2 g of powder. Whisk until smooth and frothy, pour into a cup and add more water to taste. Matcha is whole green tea leaf, so it contains caffeine. Read the caffeine figure from the pack.

- 100% organic Japanese ceremonial grade matcha, green tea powder.
Nothing else is added: no artificial flavours, no preservatives and no additives. As whole leaf green tea it carries naturally occurring caffeine, L-theanine and catechins including EGCG.
