Description
Evolution Botanicals Organic Japanese Matcha Ceremonial Grade is a certified organic Japanese matcha in a 30 g tin with an airtight lid. Tencha leaf grown under shade through spring in the Kagoshima and Aichi regions is stone ground into a fine powder and blended by growers working in organic cultivation, and whisked with hot water it froths to a vivid green with a rich umami depth and velvety notes of fresh spring greens. Ceremonial grade is the grade made for whisking with water and drinking on its own, so this is the tin for a morning bowl of matcha rather than for lattes and baking.

Suggested Use
Heat water to about 75°C, short of boiling, then pour 80 mL over 1 to 2 g of powder. Whisk until smooth and frothy, pour into a cup and add more water to taste. Matcha is whole green tea leaf, so it contains caffeine. Read the caffeine figure from the pack.
Ingredients
- 100% organic Japanese ceremonial grade matcha, green tea powder.
Nothing else is added: no artificial flavours, no preservatives and no additives. As whole leaf green tea it carries naturally occurring caffeine, L-theanine and catechins including EGCG.
