Description
Evolution Botanicals Aged Fermented Black Garlic is a garlic extract powder made from fresh black garlic bulbs that have been fermented under low thermal heat for up to 50 days, then extracted at a 4:1 ratio and standardised to more than 0.1% S-allyl cysteine. Fermentation is what turns the cloves black and takes the harsh edge off them, so the powder is odourless with a mild, mellow, savoury taste and does not leave garlic breath. A 1.5 g serve is equivalent to 6 g of black garlic, and the 120 g jar holds 80 of them. Stir a teaspoon into hot water for a warm savoury drink, or into a broth, a soup, a pasta sauce, a white sauce, a smoothie or a nourish bowl wherever you would want a round, sweet garlic note without chopping anything.
