Description
Ethical Nutrients Bone Builder with Vitamin D is a chocolate-flavoured oral powder that supplies 1000 mg of elemental calcium in one 4.9 g scoop, drawn from hydroxyapatite rather than a simple calcium salt, so it brings phosphorus with it. Each scoop also provides vitamin D3, vitamin K1 and boron. It is sponsored in Australia by Metagenics (Aust) Pty Ltd and listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods. It comes as the 150 g tub, which is roughly 30 adult doses.
Product Strengths
- Aids healthy bone development, growth and building.
- Supports bone health in elderly individuals.
- One 4.9 g scoop provides hydroxyapatite 3.9 g, equivalent to 1000 mg of elemental calcium and 431 mg of elemental phosphorus.
- Maintains and supports bone health, bone mass, bone density and bone strength.
- Helps promote bone mass and density in post-menopausal women, and supports bone strength in post-menopausal women.
- A diet deficient in calcium can lead to osteoporosis in later life. Calcium may help prevent osteoporosis when dietary intake is inadequate in post-menopausal women.
- Vitamin D helps calcium absorption, and the scoop carries 25 micrograms (1000 IU) of colecalciferol.
- Adds vitamin K1 83 micrograms and elemental boron 3.0 mg, two nutrients often left out of plain calcium products.
- Also supports bone strength in children, with separate scoop sizes given for ages 2 to 12.
- A chocolate-flavoured powder that stirs into water, which suits people who would rather not swallow large calcium tablets.
- Free from gluten, wheat, dairy, lactose, soy protein, eggs, nuts and yeast, with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
