Description
Dr Hauschka Eye Balm is a rich, waterless balm in a little glass jar, made for mornings when the eye area wants extra comfort. Castor and peanut oils with beeswax, cocoa seed butter, apricot kernel oil and jojoba carry carrot root, anthyllis, calendula, St. John's wort and neem leaf extracts along with silk powder. Warm a rice grain amount between your fingertips and press it in: the beeswax keeps it where you put it, and one small jar lasts a long time.
Press it around the eye area each morning after cleansing and toning, on its own or over an eye cream in cold weather.
Product Strengths
- Rich eye balm for the morning, on its own or layered over an eye cream in cold weather.
- A rice grain amount covers both eyes, so the 10 mL jar lasts a long time.
- Firm, waxy texture that warms between the fingertips and stays where it is applied rather than travelling into the eye.
- Castor and peanut oils with beeswax, cocoa seed butter, apricot kernel oil and jojoba.
- Carrot root, anthyllis, calendula, St. John's wort and neem leaf extracts, with silk powder.
- Packed in a glass jar.
- Certified to the NATRUE standard for natural cosmetics.
Suitable For / Not Suitable For
Suitable for: Morning use around the eye area on any skin type; layering over an eye cream in cold or windy weather; anyone who prefers a rich balm to a lotion.
Not suitable for: Vegans, since it contains beeswax and silk powder, and anyone with a peanut or tree nut allergy, since it contains peanut oil and apricot kernel oil.
For external use only, and avoid getting it in the eye itself.

Suggested Use
Each morning after cleansing and toning, warm a small amount, about the size of a grain of rice, between your fingertips until the waxes soften, then apply a thin, even layer to the eye area, starting at the inside corner and working outwards. Use it sparingly, and do not pull or drag the skin.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight, and close the jar after use.
