Designs For Health Calcium-D-Glucarate is a single-ingredient oral powder supplied in a 100 g tub with a measuring scoop. Calcium-D-Glucarate is the calcium salt of D-glucaric acid, a compound that occurs naturally in foods such as apples, oranges, grapefruit and cruciferous vegetables. The powder is unflavoured, colourless and disperses readily in water, and it is supplied for extemporaneous compounding. D-glucaric acid takes part in the conjugation pathways of the liver, and the calcium salt is supplied as a single ingredient for practitioner-directed use.
