Description
Codral Relief Mucus Cough & Cold is an oral liquid in a 200 mL bottle, combining two active ingredients in every 5 mL: guaiphenesin (also spelt guaifenesin) 100 mg and phenylephrine hydrochloride 5 mg. The liquid format is an alternative to tablets or capsules, and the bottle has a child resistant closure. Read the label and follow the directions on the pack.

Not suitable for: Anyone with an allergy to any ingredient in this product, of which only the actives and three named excipients are published, so the pack is the only full list; children under 12 years; anyone taking antidepressants; anyone with high blood pressure or heart problems, anyone taking any other cough and cold medicine, and anyone pregnant or breastfeeding, until they have asked their doctor.

Guaiphenesin is used for the relief of a mucus cough. It works by thinning the mucus to loosen chest congestion which helps to cough it up and get it off your chest.
Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 5mg
Phenylephrine helps to relieve blocked and runny noses.
This product also contains saccharin, benzoates, sorbitol (21g/60mL).
Does NOT contain sugar or colour.
