Description
Chef's Choice Certified Organic White Quinoa is a small, pale seed that cooks in about the time white rice takes, with a soft, fluffy texture and a mild, slightly nutty flavour that takes on whatever it is cooked with. Quinoa is a seed rather than a cereal grain. Use it in place of rice or couscous as a side, as the base of a salad or grain bowl, stirred through soups, or simmered with milk and fruit for breakfast.
Product Strengths

- Base for salads and grain bowls, and stirs through soups.
- Also goes into breakfast bowls, bread, muffins and cakes.

- Organic white quinoa, and nothing else.
- Provides 6.4 g protein and 2.7 g dietary fibre per 50 g serve.
- Product of Bolivia, packed in Australia.
- Vegan friendly and non-GMO.

White Quinoa
What is white quinoa?
White quinoa is the plain, everyday quinoa, a seed from the Andes that you cook and eat just like rice. It's sold loose in the bag for cooking from scratch.

Is White Quinoa right for you?
Common questions
Is quinoa a grain?
Not strictly. It's the seed of a flowering plant, Chenopodium quinoa, rather than a cereal grass like wheat or rice. You cook and eat it like a grain, though, which is why you'll find it on the same shelf. In Australia it's sold as a food, not a supplement.
