Caruso's Valerian One A Day is a single-tablet evening dose of standardised Valeriana officinalis root extract. Each tablet carries 562.5 mg of extract, equivalent to 2.25 g of dry valerian root, standardised to 4.5 mg of valerenic acid. Valerian has a long history in Western herbal medicine as a calmative and sleep herb.
