Description
Bonvit Instant Chicory is roasted chicory root, extracted with water alone and dried to a powder that dissolves straight into the cup. It is the drink the French have taken alongside and in place of coffee since the Napoleonic war: dark, roasted and faintly bitter, and carrying no caffeine at all. Stir a heaped teaspoon into hot water, black or with milk and a little sugar, when you want a coffee-like cup at an hour when coffee would keep you up.

Storage
