Blackmores Echinacea Forte is a high strength, standardised echinacea tablet. Each film coated tablet carries 66.7 mg of Echinacea purpurea juice dry, equivalent to 3 g of fresh herb, standardised to contain 1.6 mg of beta-1,2-D-oligofructofuranosides. It is listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods as AUST L 321636, sponsored by Blackmores Ltd. It comes as the two pack sizes Blackmores makes under this name: a 40 tablet pack and a 150 tablet pack. The per tablet formulation is identical in both, so at the labelled six tablets a day the 40 tablet pack is a short course and the 150 tablet pack runs to about 25 days.
