Joint Mobility Plus 60 Tablets

Blackmores Joint Mobility Plus is a small orange flavoured chewable tablet taken once a day. It is built around UC-II, an undenatured type II collagen from chicken sternum cartilage, with vitamin C and vitamin D3 alongside it. Because it is chewed rather than swallowed, it can be taken without water. It comes as the 60 chewable tablet bottle.

Product Strengths

• UC-II type II collagen: Chicken sternum cartilage powder 40 mg, equiv. collagen 10 mg, per tablet.
• Vitamin C 50 mg: Ascorbic acid, which helps support healthy joint cartilage growth and collagen formation.
• Vitamin D3 400 IU: From colecalciferol 10 micrograms. Vitamin D helps the absorption of dietary calcium, which supports bone health.
• Listed uses: Helps reduce joint discomfort and helps improve joint mobility in mild osteoarthritis, reduces mild joint aches and pains and mild joint stiffness in active individuals, and supports joint health, joint mobility, muscle function and bone health.
• One a day chewable: A single small tablet, chewed, with no water needed.

Suitable For / Not Suitable For

Suitable for: Adults with mild joint symptoms, and active adults wanting daily joint support in a chewable format.

Not suitable for: Vegetarians and vegans, because the active is chicken sternum cartilage powder. Anyone with a collagen allergy or a sulfite allergy, which the label rules out explicitly. Anyone with coeliac disease or avoiding gluten, and anyone with soy allergy, because it contains gluten and soya bean products. Anyone under 18 years, because it carries an adults only warning. Pregnancy and breastfeeding without first talking to a health professional. Anyone with a diagnosed inflammatory arthritis rather than mild osteoarthritis should speak to their health professional, because it is presented only for mild joint symptoms.

Ingredients

Chicken sternum cartilage powder 40 mg is the raw material and 10 mg is the collagen it yields; the two are not interchangeable. Colecalciferol 10 micrograms and vitamin D3 400 IU are the same quantity expressed in two units. Excipients: acacia, calcium phosphate, carmellose sodium, colloidal anhydrous silica, dl-alpha-tocopherol, flavour, hypromellose, inulin, magnesium stearate, mannitol, medium chain triglycerides, stearic acid, sucrose and xylitol.

Allergens

Contains gluten, soya bean products and sulfites. The active is derived from chicken, so this is not a vegetarian or vegan product. Do not use if you have an allergy to sulfites or collagen. Always review label for full list of ingredients.

Suggested Use

Adults: Chew 1 tablet once a day. Do not swallow the tablet whole.
