- Helps prevent neural tube defects such as spina bifida and anencephaly when taken at least four weeks before conception and during the first trimester of pregnancy.
- Helps maintain and support healthy foetal development, including development of the brain and central nervous system.
- Small, easy to swallow tablet taken once a day with a meal.
- 150 tablets per bottle, roughly a five month supply at one tablet a day.
Suitable For / Not Suitable For
Suitable for: Women planning a pregnancy, trying to conceive, or in the early stages of pregnancy, who want a simple one-a-day folic acid and iodine tablet.
Not suitable for: Anyone with an allergy to the listed ingredients. It is not to be taken alongside Blackmores Conceive Well Gold, Blackmores Pregnancy and Breast-Feeding Gold, Blackmores Folate or any other folic acid containing supplement, because the folic acid dose would be doubled up. Anyone with a thyroid condition should speak to their health professional before use, as the tablet supplies iodine. It is not a general purpose multivitamin and is not intended for children. If you avoid soy, check the Allergens section below before use.
