Blackmores Hair Growth & Scalp Ultra is a soft capsule built around four actives: biotin, nicotinamide, a well absorbed zinc gluconate, and Keranat, a patented millet seed extract grown in France. Product Strengths

• Keranat millet extract: Panicum miliaceum (millet) extract dry conc. 90 mg, equiv. dry seed 2.43 g, from 150 mg of Keranat.
• Biotin 450 micrograms: Biotin assists protein synthesis in the body.
• Zinc 7.5 mg: From zinc gluconate 58.5 mg. Zinc assists connective tissue formation, which matters for healthy hair development.
• Nicotinamide 10 mg: Vitamin B3, which assists the metabolism of fatty acids.
• Listed uses: Supports hair growth, hair health and scalp health, supports collagen formation, and reduces free radicals formed in the body. When dietary intake is inadequate it supports hair strength and thickness and reduces hair loss and thinning.

Ingredients

Zinc gluconate 58.5 mg is the mineral salt and 7.5 mg is the elemental zinc it yields; the two are not interchangeable. In the millet pair the 2.43 g figure is the dried seed the extract represents, not the weight of extract in the capsule. Excipients include caramel, d-alpha-tocopherol, gelatin, glycerol, hydrogenated vegetable oil, lecithin, purified water, rosemary, soya oil, sunflower oil, wheat, vegetable oil and yellow beeswax.

Allergens

Contains gluten, soya bean products and sulfites. The capsule shell is gelatin and the formulation includes yellow beeswax, so this is not a vegetarian or vegan product. Always review label for full list of ingredients.

Suggested Use

Adults, for general hair health: Take 1 capsule once a day. For targeted benefits: Take 1 capsule twice a day. Do not exceed 2 capsules in 24 hours.
