Blackmores Evening Primrose Oil is a cold pressed evening primrose oil in a soft capsule. Each capsule holds 1 g of evening primrose oil, providing 100 mg of the omega-6 fatty acid gamma-linolenic acid, known as GLA. It is listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods as AUST L 329759, sponsored by Blackmores Ltd. It comes as the 190 capsule bottle, the larger of the two sizes Blackmores packs. Evening primrose oil is a dietary source of GLA, which the body otherwise has to make from linoleic acid.
