Conceive Well Men is Blackmores' preconception formula for men, a one a day capsule holding 100 mg of coenzyme Q10, 15 mg of zinc, 150 micrograms of selenium, 150 mg of vitamin C from two mineral ascorbates, 100 IU of vitamin E and 500 micrograms of folic acid. The pack holds 28 capsules, which is a 28 day course, so it is designed to be taken as a run rather than dipped into. It is listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods and sponsored by Blackmores Ltd.

Total vitamin C is 150 mg per capsule from the two ascorbates combined. Excipients: calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, colloidal anhydrous silica, croscarmellose sodium, disodium edetate, ethylcellulose, gellan gum, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, maize starch, microcrystalline cellulose, potable water, potassium acetate and titanium dioxide. The mineral salt and its elemental yield are two different numbers describing the same active.
Suggested Use
Adults: take 1 capsule once a day with food, or as prescribed by a health professional.
Warnings
This product contains selenium, which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 micrograms of selenium for adults from dietary supplements should not be exceeded, and one capsule already supplies that full 150 micrograms, so do not take it alongside another selenium supplement without professional advice. Do not take while on warfarin therapy without medical advice. Dietary supplements can only be of assistance if dietary intake is inadequate. If you have any pre-existing conditions or are on any medication, talk to your health professional before use. Some products should be ceased at least two weeks before elective surgery; confirm with your health professional.
Allergens
Contains soya bean products. The capsules also have no added gluten, wheat or dairy. Anyone with a soy allergy should avoid it. The capsule is a hard capsule and is not declared vegetarian or vegan, so it should not be assumed suitable for either. Always review label for full list of ingredients.
Storage
Store below 30 degrees C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and keep the pack tightly closed.
