ZMAST is ATP Science's mineral drink powder, a light fruit flavoured beverage carrying magnesium, zinc, selenium and taurine. A 3 g scoop delivers 93 mg of magnesium, 3 mg of zinc, which is 25 per cent of the recommended dietary intake, 5 micrograms of selenium and 24 mg of taurine, and it mixes into 200 mL of cold water. It is naturally flavoured, coloured with carrot and hibiscus and sweetened with stevia, which makes it a straightforward option for anyone who finds mineral capsules hard to swallow. It comes as the 135 g tub in two flavours, Grape and Mixed Berry, and each tub holds 45 serves.

Magnesium citrate and zinc gluconate are the salts in the tub; the 93 mg of magnesium and 3 mg of zinc quoted above are the elemental mineral values from the nutrition panel, which are different numbers describing the same ingredients.

Suggested Use

Mix 1 scoop, about 3 g, into 200 mL of cold water or your preferred beverage and shake or stir. It can be taken at any time of day, including on an empty stomach.
