Description
Acure All Hair Types Dry Shampoo is a loose powder rather than an aerosol: 48 g in a squeeze bottle with a twist cap, so there is no propellant. Corn starch and arrowroot root powder soak up oil with sodium bicarbonate alongside them, while rosemary leaf and peppermint oils give it a cool, herbal scent. Squeeze a little onto your brush or straight onto the roots, work it in with your fingers and comb it through to freshen hair between washes, with no water and no rinsing.
Product Strengths
- Loose powder in a 48 g squeeze bottle with a twist cap, not an aerosol.
- Corn starch and arrowroot root powder soak up oil, with sodium bicarbonate alongside.
- A cool, herbal scent from rosemary leaf oil and peppermint oil.
- Freshens hair between washes, with no water and nothing to rinse out.
- Made by a Leaping Bunny certified company.
Suitable For / Not Suitable For
Suitable for: All hair types, and anyone stretching the days between washes or wanting a little grip and texture at the roots.
Not suitable for: Anyone with an allergy to any ingredient in this product; check the pack for the full ingredient list; anyone whose skin reacts to peppermint or rosemary essential oils; use around the eyes; and anyone looking for a substitute for washing, because a dry shampoo sits on the hair rather than cleansing it.
Suggested Use
- Twist open the cap and squeeze the container to puff the dry shampoo onto your brush or directly into the hair.
- Work it into the scalp and comb it through to the ends.
Allergens
Check the pack for allergen information.
What is in it is worth knowing all the same. The powder carries corn starch and arrowroot root powder, and it is scented with rosemary leaf and peppermint essential oils, which are the parts most likely to bother sensitive skin.
Always review label for full list of ingredients.
Warnings
Puff the powder onto your brush or onto the roots rather than into the air, and keep it away from your eyes, nose and mouth.
Essential oils are among the commonest skin sensitisers. This one carries rosemary leaf oil and peppermint oil, so try a small amount on an inconspicuous patch of skin first.
Stop use if redness, itching, stinging or soreness develops, and see your doctor or pharmacist if it does not settle.
Storage
Keep the cap twisted shut and store the bottle upright in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight. Keep water out of it: damp turns the powder to paste.
Disclaimer
For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. If irritation occurs, stop use. Always read the label and follow the directions for use.
