Description
Weleda Nipple Balm is a fragrance free balm with a seven ingredient list: lanolin, sunflower seed oil, olive oil, calendula extract, beeswax, lanolin alcohol and tocopherol. It is thick and waxy rather than a cream, so a small amount spreads a long way and stays where it is put. It is smoothed over the nipple and areola through the breastfeeding period to moisturise the skin and leave a protective layer, and it does not need to be removed before a feed.

Suitable For / Not Suitable For
Suitable for: Breastfeeding mothers; anyone who wants a fragrance free balm.
Not suitable for: Vegans and vegetarians, because it contains lanolin.
Suggested Use
Apply as needed and after each feed, gently pat the skin dry and/or allow the breast to air. Apply a small amount of balm to the nipple and areola to moisturise and protect the area. No need to remove Weleda Nipple Balm before breastfeeding.
Ingredients (INCI)
- Lanolin.
- Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil.
- Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil.
- Calendula Officinalis Extract.
- Beeswax (Cera Alba).
- Lanolin Alcohol.
- Tocopherol.
Allergens
Contains lanolin and lanolin alcohol, which come from sheep's wool, and beeswax. It is fragrance free and carries no declared fragrance allergens. Always review label for full list of ingredients.
Warnings
Sore and damaged nipples may indicate a problem with the way the baby attaches to the breast when feeding. If the problem persists, seek help from a breastfeeding/lactation consultant or health professional.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and replace the cap after use.
