Description
Carwari Organic Mirin is a sweet rice seasoning, slowly brewed from organic glutinous rice, organic rice and koji with salt. It carries about 14% alcohol by volume, which occurs naturally in the brew. Reach for it wherever Japanese cooking calls for a sweet, glossy finish: teriyaki and glazes, simmered dishes such as nikujaga, dipping sauces, dressings and sushi rice.

Suggested Use
Use it with soy sauce or tamari for teriyaki and glazes, in simmered dishes such as nikujaga and oyakodon, in dipping sauces and dressings, and in the seasoning for sushi rice. It also softens the edge of a salty braise.
