Basis Sensitiv All Round Cream

Lavera Basis Sensitiv All Round Cream is a 150 mL multi-purpose moisturiser for the face, hands and body, built on soybean oil, shea butter and sweet almond oil with jojoba oil. Beta-carotene gives the cream its pale colour, and its rich texture suits dry skin. Smooth it on after cleansing, showering or bathing, wherever skin feels dry, for one easy jar that does it all.

Suitable For / Not Suitable For

Suitable for: Adults and teenagers moisturising dry skin on the face, hands or body.

Not suitable for: Anyone with an allergy to the listed ingredients; anyone avoiding tree nut, since the cream carries sweet almond oil, or soya, since soybean oil is high in the list; anyone avoiding fragrance, since the current panel lists limonene, linalool, citronellol, geraniol, citral and benzyl salicylate, while an older jar lists benzyl benzoate and benzyl alcohol in place of benzyl salicylate; anyone avoiding palm-derived ingredients, since the cream carries hydrogenated palm glycerides; anyone avoiding alcohol in a leave-on cream; use on broken skin.

Suggested Use

After cleansing, showering or bathing, apply to dry skin and massage in until absorbed. Use on the face, hands or body as needed. Avoid the eye area.

Ingredients

Two independent published panels agree on the current formula, and it reads: water, organic soybean oil, denatured alcohol, glycerin, organic shea butter, cetyl alcohol, cetearyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate citrate, organic jojoba seed oil, organic sweet almond oil, organic aloe vera leaf juice, organic witch hazel leaf extract, organic melissa leaf extract, xanthan gum, levulinic acid, sodium levulinate, sodium anisate, sunflower seed oil, hydrogenated palm glycerides, tocopherol, hydrogenated lecithin, rapeseed sterols, ascorbyl palmitate, beta-carotene, fragrance, limonene, linalool, citronellol, geraniol, citral and benzyl salicylate.

An older jar of the same cream lists benzyl benzoate and benzyl alcohol in place of benzyl salicylate. Anyone reacting to any of the three should read the declaration printed on the jar and the carton before use.

The fragrance is declared with the individual fragrance substances the European cosmetic rules require to be named.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or lid closed between uses. Keep out of reach of children.
