Description
Acure Brightening Body Scrub is a 177 mL rinse off scrub for the body, thick enough to stay where you put it in the shower. Ground walnut shell powder, lemon peel and sea salt do the polishing in a glycerin base with mineral clays and niacinamide, while orange and mandarin peel oils and clove oil give it a warm citrus and clove scent, with blackberry, acai and pomegranate fruit extracts. Scrub it over wet skin with your fingertips and rinse it away for skin that feels soft and smooth and looks brighter.

Suitable For / Not Suitable For
Suitable for: Body skin that is dull or flaky, and anyone who likes a coarse, properly scrubby exfoliant rather than a mild one.
Not suitable for: Anyone with an allergy to any ingredient in this product; check the pack for the full ingredient list; anyone with a tree nut allergy, because the grit is walnut shell powder; anyone whose skin reacts to clove oil or citrus peel oils; the face, which this is too coarse for; broken, irritated or freshly shaved skin; and use around the eyes.
Suggested Use
- Apply to wet skin and gently scrub with your fingertips.
- Rinse thoroughly.
- Use about three times a week.

Two things in it are worth naming plainly. The exfoliant is walnut shell powder, which comes from a tree nut, so skip it if tree nuts are a problem for you. It also carries clove oil and the orange and mandarin peel oils, which are recognised fragrance sensitisers.

Warnings
Contains walnut shell powder, which comes from a tree nut. Do not use it if you are allergic to tree nuts.
Do not use it on broken, irritated or freshly shaved skin. It is a body scrub and is too coarse for the face.
Avoid contact with the eyes. If the product does get into your eyes, rinse them well with water.
Essential oils are among the commonest skin sensitisers. This one carries clove oil and citrus peel oils, so try a small amount on an inconspicuous patch of skin first.
Stop use if redness, itching, stinging or soreness develops, and see your doctor or pharmacist if it does not settle.
Storage
Keep the cap or lid closed and store it in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight.
