Description
Nutritionist Choice Bifun Unbleached Rice Noodles is a 200g packet of fine rice vermicelli made from just two ingredients, rice and water. Bifun is the thin, round rice noodle, and because this one is unbleached it keeps the pale, greyish cream colour of the rice itself rather than a bright white. Soften it in hot water and toss it through soups, stir fries, spring rolls and cold noodle salads.
Product Strengths
- Just two ingredients: rice and water.
- Unbleached, so the noodles keep the natural colour of the rice rather than a bright white.
- Fine, round vermicelli that softens in hot water.
- Made for soups, stir fries, spring rolls and cold noodle salads.
- A 200g packet.
Suitable For / Not Suitable For

Suggested Use
- Soak in hot water until just pliable, or boil briefly, then drain.
- Rinse under cold water and toss with a little oil if you are serving them cold.
- Add them to a hot soup at the last moment, since they carry on softening.
- For a stir fry, undercook them slightly and finish them in the pan.

What are rice noodles used for?
Rice noodles are used in soups, stir-fries and salads. Most come as thin vermicelli, sometimes sold as bifun, in white or brown rice, so pick the cut that suits what you're cooking.
