Description
Recovery rejoice! The evolution of intra-workout is here in the form of GHOST's INTRA, their ultimate intra-workout powerhouse, packing an epic 10g of total EAAs per serving, along with Astragin® for absorption and generous doses of Taurine, Cognizin® and KSM66 Ashwaghanda® for added focus and hydration when you need it most; sip at the gym, at the office and even before a night on the town!
Offering recovery. Every day. Forgetting the efficacious dose of EAAs/BCAAs - impressive, sure, but not unusual with premium intra-workout products - GHOST Intra goes beyond typical intra-workout/amino/recovery products with a comprehensive Focus x Hydration formula, offering enhanced endurance, uptake, and mental clarity thanks to the Cognizin Citicoline.
Gluten-free, vegan-friendly, as slick and stylish-looking as ever, and, of course, available in a range of great-tasting flavours.

What are BCAAs used for?
BCAAs are taken around training to help reduce that deep ache a day or two after a hard session. They're three of the nine essential amino acids. Use them as an extra alongside your protein.

How the forms compare
Common questions
Should I take BCAAs or a protein powder?
If you can only have one, choose protein powder. BCAAs give you three of the nine essential amino acids, so they're an incomplete protein by design. In a 12-month trial in 150 people, 30 grams of BCAA a day gave no advantage over the same amount of whey on any measure.
When should I take BCAAs. Before or after training?
Both, and starting before matters more than you'd think. Neither review found an effect when BCAAs were taken only after the hard session, and one analysis found that starting earlier before the session gave bigger effects. So a scoop taken only after your workout isn't what was tested.
Are BCAAs the same as EAAs?
No. EAA means all nine essential amino acids, while BCAA means three of them: leucine, isoleucine and valine. On paper, EAAs are the more complete option, and they're overtaking BCAAs in Australian searches, but we couldn't find a trial comparing the two head to head.
