Description
Fibre Boost Cold Pressed Protein Bar in Matcha Green Tea is a 60 g bar built on whey protein isolate and milk protein isolate with soluble corn fibre, pressed rather than baked, and made with matcha powder for the earthy, grassy note of green tea. It eats as a firm, chewy bar straight from the wrapper, for a snack between meals or after training.
Product Strengths
- Unwraps and eats as it is, with no preparation and nothing to mix.
- Packs into a bag, a desk drawer or a gym locker and keeps at room temperature.
- Matcha powder in the mix, rather than a green tea flavouring alone.
- Built on whey protein isolate and milk protein isolate with soluble corn fibre.
- Cold pressed rather than baked.
- Sweetened with steviol glycosides.

Matcha
What is matcha?
Matcha is shade-grown green tea ground into a fine powder and whisked, so you drink the whole leaf instead of steeping it and throwing it away. Every bowl gives you catechins, caffeine and theanine together.

How the forms compare
Common questions
Is matcha stronger than green tea?
Per serve, yes, because you swallow the leaf instead of brewing it. Published figures put a 2 g serve of matcha at roughly 170 mg of catechins and 73 mg of caffeine, well above a brewed cup from the same plant. It's the same tea in a more concentrated form, not a different substance.
How much caffeine is in matcha?
Reported caffeine ranges from 18.9 to 44.4 milligrams per gram of powder, so a 1 to 2 gram serve has somewhere between about 19 and 89 milligrams. Testing methods vary enough that any single figure is an estimate. Think of a bowl as somewhere between a cup of tea and a weak coffee, and count it in your daily total.
What is the difference between ceremonial and culinary matcha?
The age of the leaf. Ceremonial grades use the youngest, first-harvest shaded leaf, which is highest in amino acids and caffeine and lowest in catechins, so it tastes sweeter on its own. Culinary grade comes from older leaf with more catechins and more bitterness, which milk, sugar and baking cover up. The grade is about taste and how you'll use it, not health value.
