Lean Protein
What is lean protein?
Lean protein gives you plenty of protein per serve with the carbs and fat kept low, made to fit a smaller daily budget. Pair it with your training to help hold onto muscle while you lose fat.

Is Lean Protein right for you?
How the forms compare
Common questions
Will a lean protein shake get the fat off without changing anything else?
No, and the rules say so plainly. Every weight loss claim a listed medicine can make here must come with a label statement linking it to eating fewer calories and being more active. The trials match this: the protein groups that gained lean mass and lost fat were training hard while eating less at the same time.
Do the chromium, carnitine, CLA or green tea in a lean blend burn fat?
We can't tell you they do. The research behind this page has no verified trial for chromium and body fat, carnitine and fat burning, CLA, or green tea catechins and heat production. Buy the tub for its protein, and count the caffeine it adds to your day.
Is all that protein bad for my kidneys?
In healthy adults, combined evidence from 28 trials in 1,358 people found no harmful effect on kidney filtration from higher protein intakes. That only covers people without kidney disease, and we've flagged the source for re-checking. If you have kidney problems, your total protein is a decision for your doctor.
