Oat Mylk Salted Caramel Choc

Ombar Oat M'lk Salted Caramel is a 70g filled bar: creamy oat chocolate with a minimum of 40% cocoa solids around a soft salted caramel truffle centre. Natural caramel flavouring and desert salt, 0.3% each, give it that sweet and salty balance, with unrefined cane sugar, unroasted cacao, cocoa butter and sunflower oil making up the rest, for a bar that eats as smoothly as a milk chocolate. It is certified organic to the Organic Food Federation, GB-ORG-04, and fair trade certified to the Fair for Life standard.

Suggested Use

• Break off a square or two at a time; the 70g bar is moulded to snap along its lines.
• A filled bar is best eaten at room temperature, where the centre is soft rather than firm.

Storage

Store the bar in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight, and keep it away from anything strongly scented, because chocolate picks up smells. Chocolate kept warm can bloom and go pale or streaky on the surface. That is cocoa butter coming out of solution rather than spoilage, and the bar is still good to eat.
