Description
Gevity Rx Goodtello is a rich chocolate hazelnut spread made with hazelnuts (25%), cacao butter and cacao powder, with blanched almond meal and coconut milk powder for a creamy texture, sweetened with allulose. Spread it on toast or pancakes, swirl it through yoghurt, stuff it into dates or bake it into brownies and biscuits. It holds up in the heat of the oven without crystallising, so it is as good in baking as it is on the spoon.

Hazelnut Butter
What is hazelnut butter?
A plain jar of hazelnut butter is just hazelnuts, ground until smooth or left a little chunky. Choose roasted for a deeper, toasty flavour or raw for a milder one.

Is Hazelnut Butter right for you?
Common questions
What's the difference between hazelnut butter and chocolate hazelnut spread?
Hazelnut butter is just ground hazelnuts, sometimes with a pinch of salt. A chocolate hazelnut spread like Nutella is mostly sugar and oil, with cocoa and a smaller share of hazelnuts. Some hazelnut butters also add cocoa and sugar, which makes them closer to a dessert spread. Both sit on the same shelf with similar names, so check the ingredient list if you're after one and not the other.
Is hazelnut butter regulated as a supplement in Australia?
No. It's a food, so it's covered by the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code rather than the rules for therapeutic goods. Hazelnut is also a permitted ingredient for listed medicines, as items 2494 and 1589 on Australia's permitted ingredients list (Schedule 1), but that's a separate matter. Hazelnuts are an allergen that must be declared under the Food Standards Code, so any product containing them has to say so.
