Skin Food

Weleda Skin Food is the brand's original rich cream, first made in 1926 and still built the same way: sunflower seed oil, lanolin, sweet almond oil and beeswax carrying extracts of wild pansy, organic chamomile, calendula and rosemary. It is thick rather than light, so it is warmed between the fingers before it goes on the face, and it settles into a soft film once massaged in. Smooth it wherever skin feels rough or dry, on hands, elbows, knees, feet or the face, as the richest step in a daily routine.

Suitable For / Not Suitable For

Suitable for: Very dry and rough skin on the face and body, and vegetarian routines.

Not suitable for: Vegans and vegetarians, because it contains lanolin.

Suggested Use

Apply a small amount to dry or rough skin and massage in until absorbed. A light, protective film may remain on the surface. Before applying it to the face, rub it between your fingers first to warm the waxes and oils so it spreads more easily. To work on hard-working, dry hands, apply generously, cover with cotton gloves and leave on overnight.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Close the tube after use.

Suggested dose

Apply a small amount to dry or rough skin as needed and massage into the skin until the cream is absorbed. A light, protective film may remain on the skin’s surface. To deeply nourish hard-working, dry hands liberally apply the cream on the hands, cover with cotton gloves and leave on overnight.
