Mg12 Cell Restore Information
What is in the Mg12 Cell Restore range?
Ten products sold under the Mg12 Cell Restore name. There are four 125ml magnesium chloride body sprays: Pure, Australis, Calming and Pro Sport. There are three 110g magnesium chloride body creams: Fragrance Free, Australis and Calming. The rest are a pump deodorant, the Essential Healing Oil and the Restful Night Serum, a body oil that contains no magnesium. All are for external use only. Which products are unscented?
The Pure Magnesium Spray lists two ingredients, filtered water and magnesium chloride. The Fragrance Free Magnesium Cream lists six, with no essential oils. The other products are scented with essential oils, which can sensitise some skins, so check the pack if you react to fragrance. The Pro Sport spray contains wintergreen oil, which its product page identifies as methyl salicylate, with a caution for anyone sensitive to aspirin or taking a blood thinning medicine.
Are these products on the TGA register?
We have not confirmed an ARTG entry for any product in this collection, and none of the product pages shows an ARTG number. The TGA says it does not assess cosmetics unless they make therapeutic claims, and it explains how a product’s claims and use decide whether it is a cosmetic or a therapeutic good. The pack and the maker are the place to confirm a product’s status.
Who makes Mg12 Cell Restore?
On its own website, Mg12 Cell Restore says it was founded in 2018 by Jeff and Lori Bickmore in Brisbane, and describes itself as proudly Australian made and owned. Its home page says the products are handcrafted in Tasmania. These are the brand’s statements, and we have not seen supporting certificates.
