What is in the Merica Labz collection?
Four pre-workout powder listings. Two are stimulant formulas: F-Bomb Extreme Stim (302g, six flavours) and Castle Bravo (416g, four flavours). How much caffeine do the stimulant formulas list?
The F-Bomb page lists 400mg of caffeine anhydrous. The Castle Bravo page lists 350mg, alongside theobromine, synephrine and huperzine A. Each page directs one scoop, and neither states the weight of a scoop. For context, Standard 2.9.4 of the Food Standards Code allows a formulated supplementary sports food to contain no more than 200mg of caffeine from all sources in a one-day quantity.
What do the product pages not tell you?
No product page states an ARTG or AUST L number, or whether the product is regulated as a food or as a therapeutic good. The TGA fact sheet on sport supplements explains how that decision is made. The label on the pack is the place to confirm caffeine content, warning statements and directions for use.
