Description
Kiwiherb Children's Echinature is a single herb liquid made with Echinacea purpurea root, at 400 microlitres of root extract liquid per millilitre, equivalent to 200 mg of dry root. It comes in a base of apple juice concentrate with an orange flavour, with no more than 0.4 per cent ethanol by volume. For children from two years and for adults, it is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to maintain and support immune system health and to relieve symptoms of the common cold.
Product Strengths
- Echinacea purpurea root extract liquid 400 microlitres per mL, equivalent to 200 mg of dry root per mL.
- One herb only, in a base of apple juice concentrate with an orange flavour.
- No more than 0.4 per cent ethanol by volume.
- Traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to maintain and support immune system health, and to help stimulate a healthy immune system response.
- Traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to relieve symptoms of mild upper respiratory tract infections, and to decrease, reduce or relieve symptoms of the common cold.
- Two bottle sizes, 50 mL and 100 mL, with a dose table that starts at two years. AUST L 331430.

Suitable for: Children from two years of age and adults, taken by the millilitre against the age bands on the pack.
Not suitable for: Anyone with an allergy to the listed ingredients; children under two years of age; and anyone with a known allergy to plants of the Asteraceae, or daisy, family.

Excipients: Apple, flavour, glycerol, purified water. The base is organic apple juice concentrate with an orange flavour, and it carries no more than 0.4 per cent ethanol by volume.

Suggested Use
Children 2 to 4 years: 1 to 1.5 mL. Children 4 to 6 years: 1.5 to 2.5 mL. Children 6 to 12 years: 2.5 to 4 mL. Adults and children over 12 years: 4 to 8 mL. Take up to five times daily.

In a base of organic apple juice concentrate with natural orange oil flavour.
Contains no artificial colours, flavours, sweeteners or preservatives, gluten, yeast or dairy derivatives. Contains less than 0.5 % ethanol.
suggested dose
Children 2-5yrs: 1 - 2ml;
Children 6-12yrs: 2 - 4ml;
Adults: 4 – 10ml (or use Echinature);
Maintenance Dose: Take once daily.
During risk times: Take 2 - 4 times daily.
May be taken undiluted or in a small amount of water or juice.
Precautions
If symptoms persist consult your healthcare practitioner. Use only as directed. Always read the label. Not to be used in children under 2 years old without health professional advice. Those allergic to Asteraceae family plants (e.g. chamomile, artichokes, daisies) should take care when taking Echinacea due to possible allergic reaction. Temporary harmless tingling in the mouth may occur immediately after taking as a natural effect of high quality Echinacea – this is normal and indicative of the quality & potency of Echinacea.
