Core Botanicals Allerdefen is a liquid herbal extract made in the tradition of Chinese herbal medicine, bringing together bupleurum root, red date fruit, Baical skullcap root, ginger, pinellia, ginseng and liquorice in one bottle. A touch of spearmint oil and honey rounds out the blend. Each dose is simply measured out, diluted in a little water, juice or milk and taken straight away, with separate doses for adults and for children from 2 years.

Suitable For / Not Suitable For

Suitable for: Adults, and children from 2 years at the smaller doses given for each age band.

Not suitable for: Anyone avoiding honey; children under 2 years of age without medical advice; and, as this extract contains ethanol, anyone avoiding alcohol.

Ingredients

Per 6 mL (concentrated liquid herbal extracts equivalent to 9.3 g dry and fresh herb): "Bupleurum root (900 uL, dry equiv. 1.8 g), Red Date fruit (900 uL, 1.8 g), Baical Skullcap root (675 uL, 1.35 g), Ginger rhizome (270 uL, fresh equiv. 1.35 g), Pinellia rhizome (675 uL, 1.35 g), Ginseng root and rhizome (450 uL, 900 mg), Liquorice root and rhizome (375 uL, 750 mg). Contains ethanol 22.5% v/v, spearmint oil, potassium sorbate, vegetable glycerin, sugar (honey)".

Suggested Use

Adults (14 years and over): 13.5 mL three times daily. Children 6 to 14 years: 6 to 9 mL three times daily. Children 2 to 6 years: 3.5 to 6 mL three times daily. Dilute each dose in 10 to 30 mL of water, juice or milk and take it straight away.
