Description
Ddrops Booster is a liquid vitamin D3 supplement specifically designed for children 1 year and older, with 600 IU (15 mcg) of vitamin D3 in each drop. The vitamin D3 is sourced from lanolin and carried in fractionated coconut oil, in an easy dropper bottle. With a dose of just one drop a day, placed on a clean surface, food or liquid, it fits simply into the family routine.
Suitable For / Not Suitable For
Suitable for: Children 1 year and older.
Not suitable for: Anyone with an allergy to the listed ingredients; infants; and anyone avoiding lanolin-derived ingredients, as the vitamin D3 is sourced from lanolin.
Ingredients
Each drop: Colecalciferol (vitamin D3) 15 mcg (600 IU), sourced from lanolin, in fractionated coconut oil.
Always review label for full list of ingredients.
Suggested Use
Booster is specifically designed for children 1 year and older.
Take one drop a day. Dispense the drop onto a clean surface, food or liquid, rather than dropping it directly into the mouth.
Read the pack for the full direction before use.
Allergens
No declarable allergen appears in the ingredients; coconut is not a declarable tree nut. The vitamin D3 is sourced from lanolin (wool fat), so this product is not vegan. Check the pack for allergen information before use.
Always review label for full list of ingredients.
Warnings
Vitamin supplements should not replace a balanced diet.
Not for infants. Do not exceed one drop a dose. Read the pack for its full warnings before use, and keep out of reach of children.

What does vitamin D3 do?
Vitamin D3 helps your body absorb the calcium you eat, and it's the form of vitamin D your body makes itself. Choose lanolin-sourced or vegan lichen D3, as it's the same vitamin either way.

Is this the right vitamin d for you?
How the forms compare
Common questions
Is vitamin D3 better than vitamin D2?
For raising your blood levels, most evidence says yes. The NIH says D3 raises blood vitamin D more and keeps it higher for longer. A review of seven trials in 1,016 adults found D3 raised levels by 15.2 nmol/L more than D2. But that advantage came from single large doses. With daily doses, the difference wasn't statistically significant.
How many IU is 25 micrograms of vitamin D3?
Exactly 1,000 IU, because one microgram of vitamin D equals 40 international units. By the same maths, 10 µg is 400 IU and 50 µg is 2,000 IU. Australian rules use micrograms and labels use IU, so converting first is the only fair way to compare two products.
Is vitamin D3 vegan?
Not usually. Standard D3 is made from lanolin, which comes from sheep wool. A vegan version made from lichen is available, and it's exactly the same vitamin, so it's not a weaker product. Vitamin D2 from yeast or UV-exposed mushrooms is vegan too, but it's a different form.
Why do Australian vitamin D3 supplements stop at 1,000 IU?
Because Australian rules cap listed medicines at 25 micrograms of vitamin D a day, and 25 micrograms is 1,000 IU. Higher strengths sit outside that system. If a blood test shows you need more, that's a conversation with your doctor rather than a shelf decision.
