Greens Powder
What is greens powder?
A greens powder blends dried spirulina, chlorella, wheatgrass, barley grass and vegetable or fruit concentrates into one easy scoop. Stir it into water or a smoothie, and read the ingredient list to find the blend that suits you.

Is Greens Powder right for you?
Common questions
What's actually in a greens powder?
There's no set recipe. Most blends combine dried algae such as spirulina and chlorella with grasses such as wheatgrass and barley grass, plus vegetable or fruit concentrates, in one powder. The exact mix and the amount of each ingredient vary a lot between brands, so check the ingredient list on the tub rather than assuming.
Is a greens powder the same as buying spirulina or wheatgrass on their own?
No. A single-ingredient product like spirulina or wheatgrass gives you a known amount of one thing. A greens powder blends several ingredients, usually with less of each, so unless the brand states the amounts, you can't tell exactly how much of any one you're getting.
