Description
Healthy Care Super Greens is a green powder that blends green foods such as spirulina, chlorella, wheatgrass and barley grass with fruit and vegetable powders, a spread of vitamins and minerals, herbal extracts, dietary fibre, pea protein, digestive enzymes and probiotics. It comes as a 120 g pack and mixes into liquid rather than needing to be chewed or swallowed as a tablet. Two heaped teaspoons, a 10 g serve, stirred into juice, a smoothie, a salad dressing or food is a daily way to bring green foods, fruit and vegetable powders and added vitamins and minerals into a diet that is light on vegetables.

Is Greens Powder right for you?
Common questions
What's actually in a greens powder?
There's no set recipe. Most blends combine dried algae such as spirulina and chlorella with grasses such as wheatgrass and barley grass, plus vegetable or fruit concentrates, in one powder. The exact mix and the amount of each ingredient vary a lot between brands, so check the ingredient list on the tub rather than assuming.
Is a greens powder the same as buying spirulina or wheatgrass on their own?
No. A single-ingredient product like spirulina or wheatgrass gives you a known amount of one thing. A greens powder blends several ingredients, usually with less of each, so unless the brand states the amounts, you can't tell exactly how much of any one you're getting.
