Who is Good Change Store?

Good Change Store describes itself as a cleaning brand that began when its two founders, Kristy and Stine, took a trip to the supermarket. NZBusiness Magazine reported in 2020 that the Tauranga friends Kristy Hunter and Stine Smith launched the company in August 2019 with the Eco Cloth, a reusable alternative to plastic-wrapped kitchen sponges.

What is in this collection?

Eco Cloth Medium is a pack of three reusable sponge cloths, each 20 cm x 18 cm, made from 70% sustainably forested wood pulp and 30% cotton. The product page describes them as absorbent, quick drying and home compostable at the end of their life, and made to last up to nine months of regular use. Reusable Bamboo Towels are washable cleaning towels on a roll, made from bamboo, with each sheet measuring 28 x 25 cm.

How do you look after them?

Rinse the cloths well and hang them to dry between uses. Both products can be washed in the washing machine on warm to hot with no fabric softener, or on the top shelf of the dishwasher on a full cycle. Do not tumble dry or iron the bamboo towels.
