Glycine is the smallest of the amino acids your body uses to build protein, found in meat, fish, dairy and legumes. We mostly stock it as an unflavoured powder, pure and simple.

Common questions
Is glycine regulated as a medicine in Australia?
Glycine is a permitted ingredient in listed medicines, as item 2413 on Australia's permitted ingredients list (Schedule 1), with no dose limit or warning attached. There's no permitted use specific to glycine, so the rules don't set wording for what a product can say it does. Always read the label of the product you're buying. A few of the glycine products we stock are practitioner-only, so ask us about those before you buy.
How's glycine different from collagen?
Glycine is a single amino acid. Collagen is a whole protein made from many amino acids, and glycine is the one it contains most of. So a glycine powder gives you that one amino acid on its own, while a collagen product gives you the whole protein. If it's collagen you're after, have a look at our collagen range.
