What are EAAs?
EAAs are all nine essential amino acids in one scoop: the leucine, isoleucine and valine in a BCAA blend, plus the six others. Mix the flavoured powder with water and sip it through your session.

Is EAA right for you?
Common questions
Is EAA the same as BCAA?
No. BCAA is three of the nine essential amino acids: leucine, isoleucine and valine. EAA is all nine, so BCAA sits inside it rather than beside it. If you want the full set, EAA covers what a BCAA blend leaves out.
Is EAA regulated as a medicine in Australia?
Three of the nine amino acids in EAA (leucine, isoleucine and valine) are individually on Australia's permitted ingredients list. We didn't find the other six under their own names. EAA itself isn't on the list, because it's a blend name, and many EAA powders are sold as sports foods under food standards law rather than as listed medicines.
