Nature's Own Chromium Picolinate 400mcg is a simple single mineral tablet providing chromium picolinate 400 micrograms, equivalent to 49.6 micrograms of chromium. Chromium is a trace element, and picolinate is the form this tablet uses. Just one tablet a day with food helps maintain healthy blood sugar and maintains chromium levels in the body.

Is chromium picolinate the same thing as chromium?
Not quite. Chromium is the mineral itself. Picolinate is one of the organic forms it's sold in, alongside chromium nicotinate and high-chromium yeast. Australian law treats all three the same way, with one shared daily cap of 50 micrograms of chromium, so the form in your product doesn't change how much chromium you're allowed.
Why isn't chromium picolinate sold on its own at Mr Vitamins?
We stock chromium products, and picolinate is one of the common forms used in them, but we don't carry a product built around this one form on its own. If you're after chromium, our chromium range is the place to start, and one of our naturopaths can help you compare what's on the shelf.
