Description
The Macro Mike Peanut Plant Protein Sample Pack is the perfect way to find your favourite, with eight single serve 40 g sachets, one for each flavour in the peanut protein range. The blend is roasted peanut protein with faba bean protein and pea protein, sweetened with coconut nectar, stevia, monk fruit and thaumatin, and it mixes to a thick, peanut butter style shake. Try them all before you buy a 520 g or 1 kg bag, or keep the sachets in a gym bag for a shake after training.
Product Strengths
- Eight flavours to try before committing to a full size bag: Cookie Dough, Hawaiian Salted Vanilla, Original Peanut Butter, Chocolate Hazelnut, Chocolate Caramel, Caramel Cinnamon Bun, Choc Peanut Butter Cup and Peanut Butter Cheezecake.
- One sachet is one 40 g serve, so it travels in a gym bag, a suitcase or a desk drawer.
- Between 24.5 g and 25.7 g of protein a sachet, depending on the flavour.
- Peanut protein is the first ingredient, so it tastes of peanut butter rather than of a masking flavour.
- Around 4 g of fibre and 50 mg of Probiotic LactoSpore (Bacillus coagulans), 1 billion CFU, in a serve.
- Eight 40 g sachets in the pack.
- Contains peanuts.
Suitable For / Not Suitable For
Suitable for: Vegetarians.
Not suitable for: Anyone with a peanut allergy.
It is made in a facility that also handles products containing almonds, cashews, hazelnuts and soy.
Ingredients
Each flavour carries its own list. The base of every one is the same:
- Peanut Protein.
- Faba Bean Protein.

- Coconut Nectar.
- Guar Gum.
- Himalayan Rock Salt.
- Sweetener Blend (Stevia (Steviol Glycosides), Monk Fruit Extract, Thaumatin).

Plant Protein
What does plant protein do?
Plant protein gives your muscles the protein they rebuild with after training, without any dairy. Soy has the most evidence, pea is the go-to if you avoid soy, and most tubs blend two sources.

Is Plant Protein right for you?
How the forms compare
Common questions
Is plant protein as good as whey for building muscle?
Close, going by the evidence. Soy has been compared with animal protein across nine training trials and came out level for both strength and lean muscle. A separate 12-week study found no difference between plant-based and mixed diets once total daily protein was matched. Neither result covers rice, hemp or blends.
Can I call any of these a complete protein?
We don't, and be wary of a powder that does without showing an amino acid test for that exact product. Blending two sources is the usual way manufacturers address it, but we don't have a confirmed amino acid comparison, so we won't claim one. The test results on the pack are what count.
Does soy protein lower cholesterol?
We can't tell you that here. We haven't been able to confirm a study on cholesterol or blood fats for soy or any other plant protein, so we won't make that claim. Cholesterol is a conversation for your doctor, and not a reason to choose one powder over another.
