Description
ATP Science Amperage is a 75 mL oil blend taken by mouth in small 2 mL serves before training. It is built on high-linoleic safflower oil, pomegranate seed oil and coconut oil, finished with cold-pressed peppermint oil and grapefruit peel oil, and contains no added stimulants, which makes it an alternative to high-stimulant pre-workout powders. Taken by the teaspoon before a session, it is for people who want something ahead of training but not another stimulant load, and the oil format means it can go straight into black coffee or a drink rather than a shaker.
Product Strengths
- Taken before a session, adding a small serve of dietary oils to the day's fat intake.
- Oil format taken in 2 mL serves, so it can be dropped straight into black coffee, a drink or a salad dressing.
- Built on safflower, pomegranate seed and coconut oils, with no added caffeine or other stimulants.
- Flavoured only with cold-pressed peppermint oil and grapefruit peel oil.
- Compact 75 mL bottle that travels easily.

Pre Workout
What is pre-workout?
Pre-workouts are blends you take before training to get set for your session, usually built on caffeine plus a few amino acids. Some skip the stimulants entirely, so read the panel to find the blend and caffeine level that suit you.

Is Pre Workout right for you?
Common questions
Why do pre workouts vary so much between brands?
Because there's no standard formula and no single ingredient called pre workout. It's a type of product, so each brand chooses its own blend, and two tubs on the same shelf can contain completely different ingredients at completely different doses. The ingredient panel is the only reliable way to compare them, and the caffeine figure is usually the first number to look for.
Is pre workout regulated in Australia?
The product type isn't, but everything in it is. Pre workout isn't on Australia's permitted ingredients list (Schedule 1), because it's a product category rather than an ingredient. Each ingredient inside, such as caffeine, creatine and beta-alanine, has its own rules and its own warnings. Some products are sold as foods rather than listed medicines, which changes the rules again.
