ORS Biotic Advanced

Bioglan Medlab ORSBiotic Advanced is a 150 g Orange flavoured oral powder that you measure with a scoop and mix into water. Each 6 g dose brings two cultures, Saccharomyces cerevisiae (Boulardii) and Lactobacillus rhamnosus, at 5 billion CFU in total, together with glucose, sodium citrate, sodium chloride and potassium chloride. There are dosing bands for adults and for two age bands of children, all set out in the directions.

Suitable For / Not Suitable For

Suitable for: Adults and children from 12 months, in the three dosing bands the label sets.

Not suitable for: Anyone with an allergy to the listed ingredients; infants under 12 months, for whom there is no dose on the pack, unless a health professional advises otherwise; anyone with kidney disease and anyone taking heart or blood pressure medicines, who should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use; and anyone avoiding sulfites or sugars, both of which this product contains

Suggested Use

• Adults: Add 6 g of powder (1 scoop) to 250 mL of water and consume immediately.
• Children 2+ years: Add 6g of powder (1 scoop) to 250 mL of water. Give 100 to 200 mL after each loose stool up to 1 L/day.
• Children 12 months to 2 years: Give 50 to 100 mL after each loose stool up to 500 mL/day.

Warnings

If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional. Seek medical advice if diarrhoea persists for more than: 6 hours in infants under 6 months, 12 hours in children under 3 years, 24 hours in children aged 3 to 6 years or 48 hours in adults and children over 6 years. Contains 197 mg of potassium and 426 mg of sodium in a 6 g dose. If you have kidney disease or are taking heart or blood pressure medicines, consult your doctor or pharmacist before use. Keep out of reach of children. Contains sulfites & sugars.

Adults: Add 6 g of powder (1 scoop) to 250 mL of water and consume immediately to maintain electrolyte balance due to heavy perspiration. For diarrhoea relief and to help restore body electrolyte balance consume 4 times daily or in smaller frequent amounts (to 1 L) to restore electrolyte balance after each loose stool or as advised by your medical professional.

Children 2 years and above: For diarrhoea relief in children and to help restore body electrolyte balance, add 6g of powder (1 scoop) to 250 mL of water. Give 100 to 200 mL after each loose stool up to 1 L/day or as advised by your medical professional. Children 12 months - 2 years: Add 6g of powder (1 scoop) to 250 mL of water.
